ARC TEC staff have a special blend of design intuition, construction knowledge and project management experience. This combination of skills helps the team formulate and implement strategies based on a comprehensive understanding of their clients’ needs and the best project delivery process to satisfy those needs.
JIM FULTON
As a Partner and Principal, Jim serves as the leader of project teams and is responsible for quality, client service, staff utilization, project scheduling, and interfacing with consultants and contractors.
With extensive building code expertise, Jim has particular strengths in working with city building departments. Originally from Chicago and with a Bachelor degree in Environmental Design from Miami University, Jim has his NCARB and is a registered architect in California, Arizona and multiple states and has over 35 years of experience. He joined ARC TEC in 2000.
MARCI IVERSON
As a Partner and the Principal responsible for the firm’s interior projects, Marci oversees all the interior design and documentation at ARC TEC ensuring designs are well executed and documentation for them is high quality.
Her exceptional talent has been utilized successfully by corporate clients on projects throughout the United States as well as internationally. Marci has over 30 years of experience and has been with ARC TEC since 1997. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Montana State University.
DAN KIRBY
As a Partner and the Lead Principal for the San Jose office, Dan is responsible for new business development, and all facets of programming and design.
Dan has over 40 years of experience in design and construction, focused on commercial, biotechnology, information technology and microelectronics projects. He is a registered architect in California and member of the American Institute of Architects, International Facility Management Association, and National Trust for Historic Preservation. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of California-Berkeley.
ROB WOOD
As a Partner and Senior Project Manager, Rob serves as the leader on many of Arc Tec’s corporate tenant improvement projects.
Rob has over 33 years of experience in corporate interiors both domestically and internationally. He brings a unique perspective on high-performance technology based work environments and innovative facilities planning. Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and is a registered architect in California.
EVAN SOCKALOSKY
As a Partner and Director of Design, Evan leads the architectural design effort and is responsible for the quality of the design work performed on all building projects.
Evan is a passionate, innovative, designer, planner, and programmer (programming and planning were from previous life) with over 27 years of experience in the design of Office, Mixed-Use, Lab, Industrial, Governmental, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Master Planning projects. He designs building projects from the inside out with a focus on the developer’s needs. Evan holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame.
CRAIG ALMELEH
As Partner Emeritus and one of the founders of ARC TEC, Craig continues to provide consulting services for ARC TEC for a wide variety of clients and projects.
Working with Partner and Design Director Evan Sockalosky, Craig co-manages the design and entitlement of many of ARC TEC’s largest new campus and building projects, along with many tenant improvements of multiple sizes and project types. Craig has extensive experience with all building types and with advanced technology facilities including clean rooms. Craig holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University. He has 45 years of total experience, is a registered architect in 15 states and the District of Columbia and is NCARB certified.
